Looking for a late lunch, I stumbled upon this place.
I counted fifteen seats inside and six out front. The menu is fairly extensive for such a small place, but many patrons probably take their orders out.
I found three ways to order Chicken Gyros: as a wrap, as a platter with pita bread and salad (that's what I ordered), or the latter plus rice. The chicken was very tasty, incredibly tender, no gristle. It was not spicy-hot. The salad was simple and pleasant.
I managed to resist the sweets but they looked fantastic.
With the same owner as Cafe 220 in downtown Palo Alto, Cafe Nur is a great addition to downtown Los Altos.

The falafel salad was really great. They open early for people who pick up lunch around 10 like me.
The five stars are for the falafel themselves. They were so soft and delicious--Just perfect!

Maybe I am used to the whole foods falafel that might just be the driest on earth.
Great lunch spot!
